Year 8 Leadership Day
Communicating without speaking proved slightly tricky for our Year 8s!
A team from yLead ran a number of activities with our Year 8 cohort today, preparing them for their role as leaders of the Middle Years of Schooling next year.
yLead exist to provide unique learning experiences that empower young people to be their best and make a positive difference.
In the activity pictured below, students were required to line up according to number of siblings, and then alphabetically according to their last name – all without speaking! It’s safe to say they got very creative with using non-verbal communication techniques.
