The Jolly Postman
Mr Sheriff is one of many associate staff members who maintain the day-to-day running of the School. In particular, he helps to get messages to ‘The Jolly Postman’!
Students in Year 1 have been writing postcards to their parents, and know that they need stamps to help them get to where they are needed. At School, Mr Sheriff uses a ‘franking machine’ to weigh, calculate postage and stamp letters, so that they can be given to ‘The Jolly Postman’!
Yesterday afternoon, the Year 1s were treated with a visit to Mr Sheriff’s office, located in the dock of the Tooth Building.
