Scholarship program

At St Paul’s School, we are deeply committed to nurturing the holistic development of our students, ensuring their academic excellence, personal growth, wellbeing, and a strong sense of community pride. As part of this commitment, we offer a variety of excellence scholarships. These scholarships empower students to develop their unique talents, explore their passions, and grow as individuals.

2026 Scholarship applications open now

St Paul’s School offers three types of scholarships: academic, specialist and indigenous.

Both the academic and specialist scholarship opportunities require candidates to sit the scholarship exam.

The scholarship exam will be held on Saturday 22 March, at St Paul’s School.

Registration for the exam is made through EduTest.

Our academic, specialist and indigenous scholarships are offered to Australian residents only.

2026 Scholarship Program

Academic scholarships

Academic scholarships will be available for current St Paul’s students in Year 6 in 2025 and external students who would enter St Paul’s in Year 7 in 2026. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of a student’s academic ability.

Registration for the scholarship exam is made through EduTest.

Scholarships provide up to a 50% reduction in fees for Year 7 to 12 and are awarded on the results of the examination. There is an $100 application fee applicable to sit the examination.

Successful applicants will receive a letter of offer from the Principal.

Specialist scholarships

Specialist scholarships are for students that excel in their chosen area of specialty.

There are three specialist scholarship categories for 2026.

Performing Arts Scholarships for students who excel in music, drama or dance.

Sport Scholarships for students who excel in any given sport.

Vocational Scholarships for students commencing in Year 10 who are wishing to follow a vocational educational pathway in Years 11 and 12.

Students wishing to apply for a specialist scholarship must:

  • Sit the academic scholarship exam
  • Complete a specialist scholarship application form and return to the Principal with required supporting documentation.

Shortlisted applicants may be required to attend an interview or audition with the Principal.

Successful applicants will receive a letter of offer from the Principal.

Step 1: Read information pack

The information pack contains details on the specialist scholarship categories, selection criteria, documentation requirements, application process along with expectations of the recipients.

Step 2: Register for academic scholarship exam

The scholarship exam will be held on Saturday 22 March, at St Paul’s School.

Registration for the exam is made through EduTest.

Step 3: Complete application form

Complete the specialist scholarship application form.

Applications are to be submitted to the Principal by 4:00pm, Friday 14 March 2025.

Indigenous scholarships

Provide scholarship funding for members of the community with Indigenous heritage who may not have the financial means. Full or part scholarships are offered to Indigenous students to cover the cost of tuition at St Paul’s School.

Can my child complete the testing at a location other than the testing school (ie. Remote, overseas or interstate)?

Remote Testing is where a student sits the testing at a location other than that specified by the school, and is only available to students who are living and studying interstate, overseas or a significant distance from the testing school.

Once the Edutest registration form has been completed, and no later than 3 weeks prior to the testing date for any schools to which you wish to apply, email [email protected]

It is not possible to make arrangements for remote online testing in the week leading up to the test.

Remote online testing incurs an additional fee.
