Do you think comic books have fallen by the wayside? Think again!
Manga are comics originating in Japan, conforming to a style developed in Japan in the late 19th century. They have inspired a whole new generation of readers and writers in recent years.
Our Year 9 Japanese classes have created their own manga comics after gleaning some inspiration for our Year 3s. At the start of the term, the Year 9s interviewed a Year 3 student to gain idea into a character identity they could base their story on. They then produced this in Japanese and shared it with their buddy.
