John O’Sullivan Williams
Principal
John O’Sullivan Williams brings over 25 years of diverse educational experience to St Paul’s School. With a background spanning independent schools across Australia, Japan, and England, he has held key leadership and management roles in wellbeing, teaching and learning, and governance.
John is passionate about education and ensuring that St Paul’s School provides every student with the opportunity to reach their full potential. As the fifth Principal of the School, he is committed to placing student safety and wellbeing at the forefront of all that we do, supported by rigorous teaching and learning and a rich extracurricular programme.
Since commencing his role, John has led significant building projects and rejuvenation works to ensure that learning takes place in outstanding facilities. Furthermore, he has been instrumental in driving the implementation of the strategic and campus masterplans, ensuring that SPS will continue to flourish into the future.
As an Anglican, he is dedicated to fostering a school community where all students, families, and staff feel a deep sense of belonging, are welcomed, and are respected.
